London Casinos Lsq
Where to start, the biggest concentration of casinos in London has to be Leicester Sq. You can visit the Hippodrome Casino which really does have a lot to offer,
food, gambling, shows cabaret and my favourite past time is voyeurism. In the month of December the London Hippodrome Casino has 3 different festive menus this year.
The Hippodrome Christmas Menu 1 £37.50
The Hippodrome Christmas Menu 2 £47.50
The Hippodrome Christmas Menu 3 £52.50
The Hippodrome has so much more to offer at Christmas with many private rooms and spaces for up to 150, The perfect Casino Christmas is just down to your imagination and budget.
. Just a little further into Leicester Sq and you will come across Napoleons Casino, a little smaller and more intimate surroundings but still very nice. Oh nearly forgot, but to get into Napoleons London you will have to provide some photo ID and become a member. Right next door there is the Empire Casino which is a large open casino and you can walk straight in from either of the 2 entrances, but be warned if you have had a little too much to drink and you have been refused entry at one door please don’t bother to try your luck at the other door as security are miked up and will have already told the other door staff to look out for you and refuse you entry(no it wasn’t me it was a colleague, honest). Once inside the Empire Casino there is 2 floors and housing the Carlsberg themed bar with big (Really Big TV screens) to watch the sport. If you require something a little more quiet then as you come into the Empire Casino from the main entrance off Lsq then look to your right there is a small stairway, go up there grab a drink and go to the smoking (bonus) terrace that overlooks Lsq and watch the people pass by. It is quite entertaining to see the hussle and bussle whilst sipping a cocktail. This year at Christmas the Empire Casino is going with a Willy Wonka theme. Lets move on a little further down Lsq and you will now come across G Piccadilly. You will require to be a member so photo ID is required, but once you are in the building is fabulous, walk past all the gaming tables and go upstairs, turn around look over the balcony at all that amazing architecture. Whilst you’re actually upstairs, there is another bar which is usually quiet, take one of the window seats and gaze upon the people passing by. (I know its another bar, honest I don’t have a problem). You can come out of the G Piccadilly and then walk around the corner to the Golden Nugget located on Shaftesbury Avenue, another nice venue and the bar but sadly now closed! well I have only had a coffee in there so I cant vouch for this one (stop the giggling) If you come out of the Golden Nugget Casino in London turn right and continue up Shaftesbury road you will come across Genting Casino Chinatown London,
Phew and that’s just the London Casinos in Leicester Square, enough of a night out for mere mortals. We will continue to cover the rest of the London Casinos.
