ICE Show London 2013

Ice Show 2013

ICE Show London

“International Casino Exhibition” This is one of the biggest events of the year  for gambling and Casino Operators around the world on the 5th to the 7th of February 2013 . The Ice Show is targeted at operator level rather than the end customer (casino visitors). Suppliers and developers use the ICE show to reveal their new games, development and technologies. Originally it was held at Earls Court for over 25 years and had around 20 business exhibiting mainly traditional gaming products such as tables, wheels and chairs for the casinos. The ICE Show has now moved to the Excel Centre as Earls Court is now destined to be demolished to make way to housing developments and a new high street on a 77 acre site. There is still a raging debate on the demolishing  of Earls Court as thousands of jobs will be lost but thousands of homes will be built in the centre of London.

ICE Show

ICE Totally Gaming 2013 will be the biggest gaming event on the industry calendar with news that just 1.2% of exhibition space remains unsold as of the beginning of December. The news, which is a testament to the size and scope of the marketing campaign undertaken by the organising team at Clarion, means that ICE 2013, the firstto be staged at ExCeL London, will comprise in excess of 31,000sqm – a stand-out statistic which the organisers believe will attract the broadest spectrum of international gaming professionals to London

ICE Show

Who Will Be there ! Well every major Gaming Supplier will be including the HEADLINE Sponsors  of the Totally Gaming Awards  Novomatic

Jens Halle managing Director of Austrian Gaming Industries

The 2012 presentation of the Totally Gaming Awards added a new dimension to ICE and so, as the largest exhibitor present at the show, we felt a certain responsibility to back the new initiative. We were not disappointed, as the Awards ceremony was a high class and certainly high-prestige event. For that reason we are delighted to extend our headline sponsorship into a second year as ICE enters its new era with new dates, a new show venue in ExCeL and a new and exciting location for the awards evening also.

Kate Chambers, Director of Gaming for Totally Gaming

I am absolutely delighted to welcome Novomatic as Lead Sponsor of the second Totally Gaming Awards. For many years Novomatic has been a tremendous supporter of ICE and it is therefore most fitting that Totally Gaming week should open with their sponsorship of the show’s official awards ceremony. 2013 marks a new chapter for ICE as we move into London’s leading purpose-built exhibition space at ExCeL and on new dates in February. The Totally Gaming Awards is also moving home to the fantastic surroundings of Canary Wharf. In conjunction with our colleagues at the European Casino Association, the Remote Gambling Association and the National Casino Industry Forum, we have made some important changes to the format of the Totally Gaming Awards which will now comprise a sit-down meal and entertainment. The purpose of the Awards however, remains the same – namely to recognise excellence, professionalism and best practice across gaming in all of its various formats and delivery channels. I look forward to welcoming Novomatic, its guests and the gaming industry at large to what is the official and most enjoyable way to launch Totally Gaming week in London

Other Exhibitors at the ICE Show

Bell Fruit Games , Bally Technologies, GLI Europe, IGT, National Gaming Academy to name but a few of the largest event of its kind. The diversity of the exhibitors is now staggering from traditional gaming suppliers of tables wheels and chairs to Croupier training academy’s, clothing suppliers, Electronic Gaming supplies, Lottery, Bingo and to the biggest growth areas of Online Gaming and social Media.

ICE Show New Products

Will there be anything new at this years Ice Show! Well over the many years I have visited the show there has not been many innovations for the players since the introduction of the remote electronic gaming terminal (An electronic gaming terminal connected to either a live or automated roulette wheel within the casino). There are many copies of the original as supplied by Novomatic (AGI)  designed to bring all types of betting to your very own terminal, just with the touch of the screen you can change the game to suit your mood. However there is limitations within the UK due to the gaming laws of the 2005 Gaming Act.There will be of course be themed/sponsered  slot machines from either your favourite TV Show, Celeberity or Big Brand but it will be nothing new just a rehash of a new theme. There will be fancy dazzling new bright and bold cabinets, bright flashing lights and LED’s but will there be anything truly ground breaking. Will they integrate social media into the casino games, more portable games or will they try to make it more of an emerged experience ! What will be the next big thing in Gaming

Will you be going to the 2013 ICE Show ? We will and hope to bring you all the latest news from ICE 2013
